世界大賽台北時間28日上午7時30分在皇家主場開打，皇家隊能阻止大都會隊Daniel Murphy的「全壘打秀」嗎？這將是今年世界大賽的最大焦點。
Murphy在今年季後賽已轟出7支全壘打，再1轟即可追平Barry Bonds、Carlos Beltran以及 Nelson Cruz等人共同保持單一球季季後賽最多全壘打紀錄；而他連6戰轟出全壘打，已是大聯盟季後賽的新紀錄。
Murphy的棒子如此火燙，毫無疑問，他已被皇家隊鎖定，皇家隊投手教練Dave Eiland說他沒有錯過任何一個好球。因此該如何封鎖Murphy手中的大棒子，皇家隊正在苦思對策。
Murphy已經從道奇隊Clayton Kershaw、Zack Greinke以及小熊隊Jake Arrieta等強投的手中轟出全壘打，世界大賽第1戰他將面對皇家隊先發投手Edinson Volquez。Murphy生涯面對 Volquez，15打數擊出6支安打包括1支二壘打，2打點，由此可見Murphy對 Volquez的球路很有心得，明天（28日）就看Murphy能否再創紀錄了。
